Here is Mike, my husband of 22 years in his favorite Carhartt Jacket! Mike is an Iron Worker/ Welder and he needs rugged clothes that are going to withstand all he can dish out. Carhartt has just those kinds of clothes. In the winter he can put on his Carhartt Insulated Coveralls and this Jacket and do anything he has to do and stay warm and comfortable doing it. He can put on his 70lb work belt and get up on the iron and move around and do it without his clothes restricting his movement.
When he is welding the clothes stand up to the sparks flying, he gets burn holes but is able to get the fire out quickly and the clothes for the most part can be worn again. That is very important in his line of work because not only is it expensive to replace the clothes it is important that a spark doesn't ignite the clothing and catch him on fire, that could really ruin a persons day!
You can't beat Carhartt for durability and yet they still manage to look nice!
my hubby has wanted one of these jackets for awhile. I stopped and looked at them at the store and they are top quality work jackets. I keep waiting for them to go on sale!
